Your dog is your loyal companion to whom you have made a lifelong commitment. Teaching him to live, untroubled and at ease in our human world, is the greatest gift you can give him whether its housetraining, sitting quietly at your feet in the park, or rolling over for a belly rub.

Camp Canine USA only teaches dog-friendly, force-free methods based on positive reinforcement, using food and play as rewards. Our primary technique is clicker training, a fun and easy way to draw out the thinking dog who dwells in each of our four-legged friends. All you need to get started are a small box clicker, a pocketful of treats and a sense of fun. You and your dog will learn to communicate in a special way. You will learn basic cues - Sit, Down, Come, Stay - as well as Loose Leash Walking, Polite Greetings and much more, including a few tricks to dazzle your friends! Why the positive approach? Because its effective, its fun and it goes a long way toward building a happy, meaningful relationship with your dog.

PUPPY PLAY AND LEARN

Includes puppy playtime, socialization games, basic cues (Sit, Down, Come), plus lots of information about puppy care.

One (1) class per week for three (3) weeks. Minimum 2 dogs for class to take place. Maximum 6 dogs. If overflow, a second class may be added.

Requirements

Class fee is $60 (cash or check). 
Puppy must be 10 to 20 weeks old on first day of class. Puppy must be healthy and have been checked out by your vet, must have had at least two rounds of vaccinations and must have been in the home at least 2 weeks. Proof of vaccinations must be presented at first class.

Reward-based, clicker training for fundamentals of good behavior – Polite Greetings, Sit, Down, Stay, Polite Leash-Walking, Tricks & more!

One (1) class per week for six (6) weeks. Class maximum: 4 dogs. If overflow, an additional class may be added.

REQUIREMENTS:

Class fee is $125 (cash or check) Your dog must be at least 5 months old on the first day of class.
You must show proof of current vaccinations by the start of session #2 or you will be excused from the class with no refund.
Unaltered dogs accepted, but excluded from playtime at the end of each class.

Strictly puppy play with a little learning on the side. For the puppy parent who needs a little less structure and a little more flexibility. Includes lots of puppy playtime and socialization. We’ll touch on basic cues (Sit, Down, Come. etc.) and share lots of information about puppy care.

Session fee is $25 (cash or check)
Puppy must be 10 to 20 weeks old.
Puppy must be healthy and have been checked out by your vet, must have had at least two rounds of vaccinations and must have been in the home at least 2 weeks. You must be prepared to show proof of vaccinations.
NOTE: This is a drop-in class. You must call or e-mail ahead to confirm a space prior to each session.

Happy Camper Home and Train Program
They Learn and Play While You’re Away

Our Home and Train Program combines our In-Home Pet Care Service and Training program.

Going on vacation or does your work take you on the road?
If your pooch has to stay behind, wouldnt it be great if you came back to a four-legged pal who has enjoyed a bit of a vacation of his own at home, full of fun and stimulation? He might even have a few new tricks up his collar.

Our Happy Camper Home and Train program is a great alternative for those times when Scout cant go out or Fifi cant fly.

While youre away, your dog stays in the cozy, familiar comfort of his/her own home. We come by four times each day for potty breaks, walks, exercise, play and, of course, meals. And as an extra added bonus, we work on targeted basic training issues. When you come home, your pup can have a solid Sit, a dandy Down, she Comes when shes called --- you name it.

When you come home, we follow up with a special session to make sure you know your part to keep that good behavior going.

Full 7-day/6-night Camp Canine Home and Train Pass $570
(Only an additional $20 per day over the weekly Happy Camper Pass )

Your dog receives an extra half-hour of basic manners training each day, which we will reinforce at all times throughout the week.
